Ree J. Casey-Jones

Ree is a native of Shreveport, Louisiana. She graduated from Huntington High School in 1997. She later attended Dillard University in New Orleans, Louisiana and completed her undergraduate studies by obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications in 2000 from Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She is a 2005 graduate of Southern University Law Center and licensed to practice law in Louisiana. She began her legal career as a Law Clerk for the United Small Business Association in Dallas, Texas and was promoted as an Attorney prior to her resignation.

She attends Peaceful Rest Baptist Church where she is an active participant in various committees and ministries within her church. She is a member of the Harry V. Booth-Judge Henry A. Politz Inn of Court, Louisiana State Bar Association, National Bar Association, Louisiana Bar Foundation where she was inducted into the Foundation Class of 2008, and has been featured in SB magazine and selected by her colleagues as one of Shreveport/Bossier’s Top Attorneys for 2007, 2008, and 2009. She is a recipient of the 2010 Phi Delta Kappa Person of the Year Award in the area of Law and a recipient of the Mt. Canaan Baptist Church Trailblazer Award. She is admitted to practice law before the United States District Court for the Western, Eastern and Middle Districts of Louisiana. Her civic involvement includes membership in Alpha Kappa Alpha Soroity, Inc. Ree has previously served as an attorney for the Indigent Defender Boards in both Caddo and Bossier Parishes.

Ree practices in the areas of Worker’s Compensation, Personal Injury, Succession and Probate Law, and Product Liability.
