Keenan Jermaine Dunlap

Keenan J. Dunlap was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. He received a B.A. in Psychology from Southern University of New Orleans and his J.D. from Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge.
Dunlap has had the honor and privilege of working on two of the biggest cases in the history of the United States. In 2009, he was part of the team that represented Hurricane Katrina victims in a month long bench trial that resulted in a groundbreaking decision to hold the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers liable for its mismanagement of the Mississippi River-Gulf Outlet (MRGO) during Katrina and the catastrophic flooding it caused in New Orleans.
Upon joining The Singleton Law Firm, Dunlap has worked diligently to represent victims of the Gulf Coast Oil Spill which includes claims against the Gulf Coast Claims Facility (GCCF) and the multidistrict litigation, MDL-2179, filed in United States District Court in the Eastern District of Louisiana.
Dunlap is a member of the 4th JDC Bar Association (2010), Louisiana State Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.
